Learning About Ourselves From Others

‎”Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” — Carl Jung

I’m sitting here in my dorm room reading about Postcolonialism and keep thinking about an on-going discussion with a friend: Ignorance -> Hatred ; Ignorance = Lack of knowledge; Information/Knowledge (hopefully) -> Understanding; Understanding -> Respect; Understanding -> Success operating on Respect and Love.  This is just a quick post. Haven’t gone into the nooks and crannies of these statements.

Anyways, my point is that the more we know. The more information we have about person “a” in Country “XXI”, the more we become exposed to the reality of what we share with that person.  An affinity with someone, somewhere. This is a pretty incomplete post. I’ll probably try to re-post and add on to this (drawing from various perspectives and disciplines).

Love ? I love love love you.
